About

Voter Verified Elections is a non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Michigan and accepted under the Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)(3) to do two functions:

     1. Scientific - Create election software where the voter can go in and verify their vote in an official database after the election is over. We do not believe this to be a difficult task involving a small fortune. Our thought is to use existing free software like Open Office or Libre to create ballots from databases, and the official database can be laid out in a spreadsheet format for verification by the voter.

       2. Educational - To put basic information on the ballot about candidates and issues so that voters can make an educated vote. In order to do that, we will make this website a sounding board for political issues to better help inform voters.

These are the two requirements needed to be a strong democracy.
